While this is a website dedicated to the people and organisations active in EU-funded research projects with an international cooperation focus, we would still like to offer you some information on EU policies in the field of science and technology as well as the EU in general.

ERAWATCH provides information on national and regional research policies, actors, organisations and programmes as well as the main instruments of European Research Policy.

In terms of science and technology policy-making on an EU level, the Scientific and Technical Research Committee (CREST) of the Council of the European Union and the Industry, Research and Energy Committee of the European Parliament are major players.

Here, you will find information on the EU's research funding instrument, the 7th Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development (FP7). It is administered by the European Commission's Research Directorate-General (DG Research).

The European Commission itself offers more information on its International Science and Technology Cooperation activities in different countries and world regions, e.g. India or Southeast Asia. On this site, you also find a list of all current international cooperation projects funded by the EU's FP7 in four different formats.
